VibeBreak runs locally on your Mac. It watches a Claude Code log file and reacts visually and audibly. We try to keep data collection minimal and predictable.
What we collect
When you buy a license, our payment processor handles your payment details. We receive your email address and an order ID, which we use to send the license key and provide support.
The app may report anonymous crash diagnostics (no source code, no file contents) so we can fix bugs.
What we do not collect
We do not read your prompts, your code, the files Claude Code edits, or any output from your sessions. None of that ever leaves your machine.
Claude Code hook events
VibeBreak listens to Claude Code hook events on disk to know when an agent is running, waiting on input, has finished, or has errored. These events stay on your Mac and are used only to drive the companion's animation and sounds.
Third-party services
Payments are processed by a third-party (e.g. Stripe / Lemon Squeezy) subject to their own privacy policies. Crash diagnostics, if enabled, may be routed through a third-party error-reporting provider.
Data retention
We keep license records and purchase emails for as long as needed for support, refunds, and tax compliance. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.
Children
VibeBreak is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
